Yeah but i never particularly liked battle.net, usually get GG'd pretty quickly, killed a lot of the fun out of the Original SC.

Also not to mention that Blizzard plans to charge a subscription for battle.net eventually and SC2 is looking less and less enticing -.-"

First we had the Air France A330, now we got the Yemenia A310.

I know Airbus isn't responsible for dodgy maintenance practices but these along with the ongoing issues with their flagship A380s (Electrical issues) and their image is seriously being degraded. it's a shame, i think Airbus definitely makes nice planes, the A380 is an engineering marvel that needs to be seen to be believed, standing side by side with a 747-400, even the 747 looks small.

it would a nice chance for Boeing to capitalize on this and gain some market share, if their own 787 Dreamliner wasn't beset with constant delays, i think they are up to their 5th delay if you include the latest one due to extra structural support on the wing support structure.

And to think the 747 was developed and constructed in less than 5 years, when the planes of the time were half the size, and also constructed in a building that was being constructed alongside the plan itself.

I think the 787 has been on the drawing board a lot longer than that. Everything takes longer nowadays. It's unfortunate but true.

Both companies really need to get their act together on their newer models. I might see the A380 this year at Airventure Oshkosh. Would be interesting.

yeah, according to wiki, its based off the Sonic Cruiser Concept, which has its roots back in the early 90's, but i tend to view the start of the 787, with the 7E7 project in 2003.

That was the plane that was similar in size to the current 787 but had extremely sweptback wing and horizontal stabilizer. Overall it looked like the current 787 on steroids. too bad they downsized the design to the current 787, but it's still an interesting plane and irrespective of the delays, selling like hotcakes

Oh yeah, Firefox 3.5's been released, the RC version has been out for awhile i suppose, but who has upgraded from 3.0 to 3.5 so far?

All this hype over native media support through HTML5, but i shudder to think of websites that over-use these features on their pages -.-, The net in Australia is slow as it is with all the flash stuff some websites plaster all over the place.

I'm just hoping the HTML5 adoption rate is a bit more sensible compared to when Shockwave and Flash first came out several years back (i think 2000--2001 ish?). Nearly every website plastered their pages with tons of useless flash or Shockwave animations, and this was back when 56K was still popular, Epic Lag is all i can say -.-"

I've been using 3.5 for a few weeks. I like it, haven't noticed much difference between beta and final.

Flash is whored far too much, I agree with you on that. It makes it so pages cannot be indexed, no copy paste, no anything. For some things, this could be okay, but for entire websites, it's stupid. Perhaps HTML5 media support can replace this. I have no idea though, I haven't read much on it yet.

How much we have come since then, from single transistors on a plate to a chip with 1.4 Billion Transistors in a package the size of a postage stamp, with each transistor only 55nm across(The Nvidia GT200 chips). Not to mention the Intel Nehalem based chips.. they are planning on 32nm parts by the end of this year O.O

Yeah, 32nm is around the corner, can't wait. I'm loving my i7 920 right now, though, I'll tell you that! It's hard to believe that it's only been 50 years.

The FAQ says that purple is negative. I thought the same as you, Princess. Also, like Sonata, I liked the colour and didn't think anything of it. Actually I was trying to figure out what the blue ones meant so I checked the FAQ and it said purple was negative.
